Hunter Imaging’s multi-million dollar investment in this new flagship diagnostic imaging center will help patients on their cancer journey, as they will no longer need to travel to Newcastle to receive the best oncology treatment.

As part of the GenesisCare integrated oncology care service, which opened in February this year, the opening of the Hunter Imaging section will ensure patients have rapid access to diagnostic technologies and specialized oncology treatments, under one same roof.

Patients referred to the center will have access to world-class PET CT – an essential tool for diagnosing and measuring response to cancer treatment, as well as MRI, general nuclear medicine, diagnostic CT, complete diagnostic ultrasound, mammography and general X-ray. Ray.
